How To Rec Room- A Guide on Room Tags!

Each room in Rec Room (#RecRoomOriginal Games and Custom Rooms) has a list of room tags, which are case-insensitive text strings starting with a hash ("#") that describe the room.
Searching by Room Tags[]
Search Tab in the Play Menu of the Watch Menu
You can search for rooms with a specific room tag on rec.net or with the Search tab in the Play Menu of the Watch Menu by specifying the room tag including the hash ("#"). Additionally, the Hot list in the Play Menu of the Watch Menu may be filtered by a few preset room tags: #rro, #community, #quest, #puzzle, #pvp, #hangout, #art, #tutorial, #fandom, #performance, #action, #horror, and #story. Other popular room tags are #template, #coop, #casual, #sport, #boardgame, #escaperoom, #maze, #parkour, #roleplay, #adventure, #singleplayer, #1v1, #2v2, #3v3, #4v4, etc.

Details Tab in the This Room Menu of the Watch Menu
While in a room in Rec Room, you can see all room tags of the room in the Details Tab of the This Room Menu of your Watch Menu. There (and in the Publish Room page) you can set up to 3 room tags for your own Custom Rooms. Additionally, each room has a number of automatically assigned room tags.
Automatic Room Tags[]
Some room tags are automatically assigned to rooms. In particular:
#RecRoomOriginal and #rro[]
All #RecRoomOriginal Games by Against Gravity have the tags #RecRoomOriginal and #rro.
#community[]
All Custom Rooms have the tag #community.
#new[]
Recently published rooms have the tag #new.
#featured[]
Currently Featured Rooms have the tag #featured.
#teleportvr, #walkvr, #screen, and #pickup[]
Rooms that allow teleporting players to enter have the tag #teleportvr; rooms that allow "walking" players to enter have the tag #walkvr; rooms that allow Screen Mode players to enter have the tag #screen. (This is specified in the Publish Room page and the Room Settings tab of the General Settings in the Watch Menu.)
Rooms that allow teleporting, "walking", and Screen Mode players to enter have the tag #pickup.
#copyable[]
Rooms that may be copied by other players (with the "Copy" button in the Details Tab of the This Room Menu of your Watch Menu) have the tag #copyable. (This is specified in the Publish Room page and the Room Settings tab of the General Settings in the Watch Menu.)
If a room is intended as a template for other rooms, consider adding the tag #template.
