RC car

RC car and remote (from the sandbox machine).

The RC (Remote Control) car is a set available to hosts via the sandbox machine in custom rooms in the "Special" category. When the box is dropped, a mini version of an RC car and a remote are spawned. To use these, grab both and you will get a real-size RC car and a remote with a screen.

Controls

To move the RC car, pick up the remote in one hand, and all controls are using that hand as follows:

Control HTC Vive & Win MR Oculus Rift PSVR
Accelerate Trigger Trigger Trigger
Boost Grip button Grip button X/Circle button
Turn Trackpad Joystick Hold move button and physically move controller

Extras

A jump and double jump is available by flicking the remote control up in the air.

Respawn: the button on the RC car remote under the joystick is a "respawn" button. When pressed (with your other hand), it will respawn the RC car (including any attached maker pen art) beside the controller.

Camera

On the hand with the remote controller you will see a screen which can show a camera-view from the position of the RC car. To change cameras, tap on the screen with your other hand. There are three cameras available and the option to disable the camera.

Design

By default, the RC car is blue. The car changes colour depending on the team of the person holding it (see the scoreboard).

Maker Pen Integration

Planes stuck to RC car

Planes that were created with a maker pen (from the sandbox machine) and stuck to two RC cars (also from the sandbox machine).

Anything drawn with the maker pen can be attached to an RC car by holding the RC car in one hand and the drawing in the other hand, and then letting go of the drawing while it is overlapping with the RC car, as you would stick creations to other people or walls. When stuck, creations do not interact with the environment but are purely cosmetic. When the car respawns it respawns with anything that was previously attached to it.

Darts from the Sandbox Machine can also be attached to an RC car and change its physics considerably.
